The ACUA Foundation in Colombia asked me to help them shape an ambitious project: to design a brand that would encompass all the efforts and initiatives they were doing to promote, cultivate and transmit Colombian culture through gastronomy to the new generations. While helping local producers to market their products. And that is how we proposed the brand concept: Kumé.
A word in native palenquero language that means "let's eat".
A brand is created in the mind. It is experienced. It is a symbol, an idea.
Kumé is: Finding your origin, discovering your potential!
It is to recognize and give value to your gastronomic roots, to find your origin, to know who you are, to determine where you want to go and to discover what you are capable of.
